Once upon a river
once upon my mind
you left your imprint
on my soul, among the leaves
and falling water.

I have sailed so far away
to the darkest corners of the day,
so that you can walk with me
hand in hand, in the rain
and with the pain.

If you are the harbour
I am the shore.
If you are the light
then I am the door
through we must step
