the road

Somewhere near Bombay, India, I came across this scene by the side of the road.

Crazy car. In the middle of the Darien jungle between Colombia and Panamá, I cam across this red Chevy Impala rusting away in the trees. How it got there remains a mystery. Only the trees can tell the story.

During the next couple of weeks, I will be launching my new photo agency representing some of the best photographers in Colombia. Here is a first look at the home page for www.everythingcolombian.com

I will be looking to represent photographers in the region and their feature stories. Good luck and thanks.

You are the heart
of everything
the meaning
the message
a postcard
from the other side
of the world
where a river once flowed
and monks rowed towards
the sky
in a heaven made
for you and me
with gates of light and gold
to hold
our love that stands
the test of time
sublime.

finale. (08/05 - 07/06)

I have arrived at the end of the voyage. This picture ends the first chapter of the diary. Standing at the feet of a giant in India. During the past twelve months I have traveled across a mindscape of language and images from my past. I have shared my space with your space. From the foothills of the Himalayas, to the snows of Central Park, to the war in Colombia, this is just one part of my life. Gulliver's travels in the cyber age. Read on. Come back. Forge ahead.
